US secretary of state Blinken highlights deepened partnership with India through Quad

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, during his end-of-year press availability in Washington, stated that the United States has strengthened its partnership with India in 2023 and elevated cooperation through the Quad, a strategic forum that includes Japan and Australia.

Blinken emphasized the significance of deepening ties with India and fostering collaboration within the Quad framework to address challenges in the Indo-Pacific region. The Quad, established in 2017, aims to counter China's assertive actions in the resource-rich Indo-Pacific area.
